If I could put 0 stars I would this hospital is probably the worse hospital I have ever been to. The staff is very rude and lazy. They do not allow patients to have there visitors come back. I was here with a close friend and she asked them 3 different times to allow me to come back they replied with yes we will go get them all 3 times and nothing. They also do not listen to your medical issues and give you incorect information and medication. Please don't bring your loved ones or yourselves to this hospital.
Oncology staff are wonderful, I'd give them 5 stars, however this review is of the ER. Not impressed at all. The registration person was awfuly rude and there was only 2 of us being seen at the time. Not sure what her problem was. The staff was friendly, but maybe a little too laid back. I have stage 4 cancer and would prefer a more professional environment where I felt like people knew what they were doing. Wait time was ridiculous for the 2 - 3 people.

I had driven to StJoes because of their reputation from years ago. I was in a great deal of pain but would rather endure that and receive reliable care. The ER was dirty I sat on a child’s wooden chair and the desk staff were unprofessional and lazy. The staff in the back were ok but the DOCTORS SIMPLY DIDNT LISTEN. It was not a female issue but I left their with them telling me it was. I am a nurse I am very familiar with female issues. I was incredibly pissed at the staff - no pun intended. I drove back to my small community hospital ER ... I was given IV and Morphine which didn’t provide relief and given a CT scan. I had surgery and was admitted. Given IV antibiotics. I have now transferred my healthcare needs to West Bloomfield Henry Ford Hospital and professional service building at 12 Mile and Haggerty and have been pleased overall.
Was not happy with my vist. I took my daughter in for the fear that she may be dehydrated as she had been vomiting and had not had a wet diaper since early that morning. They gave her some anti nausea medicine. Which was great.The doctor wanted to make sure that she was peeing but yet let us sit in the room for over an hour with no one coming in to offer my child anything to drink. When the doctor did end up coming back in to see if she went to the bathroom all she did was look at her diaper never once opened it to make sure she had actually went. She then Proceeds to tell me that she would like to put a catheter in her to get a sample since she is not yet potty trained. As she had mentioned time after time about her not being potty trainned she has just turned 3 years old. Not like she is a 6 year old still in diapers. Doctor makes you feel dumb. This will be my last visit to this hospital. What a joke.
I have never been disappointed. My veins are difficult to fine, I never had a problem getting a blood draw here.
